Not one word about this from the Main Stream Media… you remember them… those that should be shouting from the rooftops when Freedom and Liberty are in danger.
From WorldNetDaily Exclusive Commentary
The classic definition of socialism is: government control of the sources of production. A bill now before Congress, H.R. 2421, will give the federal government absolute control over all sources of production. This bill, if enacted, will instantly convert the United States into a socialist nation.

Interesting email from Phil with a very informative link (see below). Let us not forget that Ron Paul, treated with much disrespect from the mainstream media, has been outspoken regarding the economic plight of the U.S. Ron Paul is the only Presidential Candidate that has brought forth a solution instead of a band-aid.
Thanks to Phil for this link.
the London Times - 1865
“If that mischievous financial policy which had its origin in the North American republic during the late war in that country should become indurated down to a fixture, then that Government will furnish its money without cost.
“It will have all the money that is necessary to carry on its trade and commerce.
“It will become prosperous beyond precedent in the history of the civilized nations of the world. The brain and wealth of all countries will go to North America. That Government must be destroyed or it will destroy every monarchy on this globe.”

Then the Federal Reserve Act (1913) was the final nail in our coffin. The Federal Reserve is a privately owned Bank ! Those Trillions of National Debt are owed to bankers ! Got any idea what the co-lateral for those Trillions is ?????

More woes for the “U.S. Dollar”, as reported at Reuters.
AMSTERDAM (Reuters) - The U.S. dollar’s value is dropping so fast against the euro that small currency outlets in Amsterdam are turning away tourists seeking to sell their dollars for local money while on vacation in the Netherlands.

A true Constitutional “American Dollar” (as Ron Paul supports by proposing H.R. 2755: Federal Reserve Board Abolition Act) and the “American” economy would not experience such troubles as these would not be in the hands of, and orchestrated by, a handful of elite private bankers leading America to a NWO Tyranny. This “economic terrorism” must come to an end.

An interesting article at UrbanSurvival.com about the Fed Moves over the last week with regard to the “economy.” And as more and more people come to understand the trouble that lay ahead the “elite” continue to rape the taxpayers without fear of retribution. Here are a couple of excerpts from the article. Please click the link below to read the full article and roam the site for more interesting news.
With the interest rate cuts Tuesday the FED has now done 5 actions in ONE week!! UNPRECEDENTED in my memory (which unfortunately is longer than I wish it was)
Tues 3/11: Helicopter drop of $200 Billion Dollars into the banking system Fri 3/14: Helicopter drop of unknown amount of $$ into Bears Stearns via Chase Bank Sun 3/16: Helicopter drop of additional $30 Billion Dollars into Bears Stearns via Chase Bank Sun 3/16: 1/4 point rate cut Tues 3/18: 3/4 point rate cut
And the taxpayers footing the bill:
VOILA … since they did not file bankruptcy, but were instead “sold” for a mere $250 million (1/4 the value of their NYC office building) , the TAXPAYER, via the FED, ends up footing the MULTI BILLIONS DOLLARS in costs and expenses that would otherwise have been paid out of those returned Bonuses!!
In other words … and I am somewhat LIVID on this one: The Taxpayers GAVE those high paid INDIVIDUAL Wall Street Bankers at Bear Stearns a departing PERSONAL GIFT OF SEVERAL BILLION DOLLARS by allowing this deal to be structured as it was!!

Looking at the landscape - “putting two and two together” - I have made the prediction to several friends that September of this Year ( 2008 ) would tell the story. In anticipation of a “national emergency” that may keep the current administration at the reigns of the U.S. government and the event that certain legislation has been passed into law to pave the way for armed suppression of the American People via martial law I chose the economy and predicted September - 2 months prior to the General Election for Office of the President.
This prediction is now supported by the Global Europe Anticipation Bulletin (available at a cost of $300.00 annually):
“The end of the third quarter of 2008 (thus late September, a mere seven months from now) will be marked by a new tipping point in the unfolding of the global systemic crisis.
“At that time indeed, the cumulated impact of the various sequences of the crisis will reach its maximum strength and affect decisively the very heart of the systems concerned, on the front line of which (is) the United States, epicentre of the current crisis.
“In the United States, this new tipping point will translate into - get this - a collapse of the real economy, (the) final socio-economic stage of the serial bursting of the housing and financial bubbles and of the pursuance of the U.S. dollar fall. The collapse of U.S. real economy means the virtual freeze of the American economic machinery: private and public bankruptcies in large numbers, companies and public services closing down.”

We still have an opportunity to avert or alleviate this coming event. There are many GOP delegates whose votes have been freed up as those candidates have bowed out of the race and endorsed McCain. Those delegates can now vote their conscience. Even though the Mainstream Media is reluctant to report the fact that there are still TWO (2) candidates running in the GOP primary, many of those delegates are aware that they have a choice between the neo-con McCain and the Constitutionalist Ron Paul.
Ron Paul is the only viable candidate and the only candidate that offers any sort of plan to deal with the coming Economic Collapse. We still have a great work ahead of us if we are to avert or alleviate the troubles we face. In the hopes that the economy will hold tough until after the General Election - let us continue the work.

Did you hear what McCain said on ABC this week? “No New Taxes.” Sound familiar?
In an amazing coincidence, the day after George “No New Taxes” Bush endorsed him, John McCain made a hauntingly familiar promise to try and persuade you to vote for him.
Of course, if you’ve been around the block, you’ll remember how seriously “Daddy Bush” took his own “Read my lips! No new taxes!” promise. He reneged on it during his first term as president, more than likely why he had no second term.
Will John McCain do the same and flip-flop again? Considering his record, it shouldn’t be too hard to figure out:
- McCain voted twice against Bush tax cuts, but now presents himself as anti-tax
- McCain authored an amnesty bill for illegal aliens, but now claims to be for strong borders
- McCain gave us the McCain-Feingold bill restricting free speech
Mike Huckabee, one of the other two remaining Republican “front runners,” would likely be even worse. As governor of Arkansas, he raised taxes substantially, and now pushes the so-called “Fair Tax“… a misnamed taxation disaster second only to the present perverted IRS nightmare.
On the other hand, there is still a Republican presidential candidate with this sterling record:

Why don’t you hear about Ron Paul on the news? Why, when you do, is he called “unelectable,” “quirky,” and every other name in the book? Because the news is almost entirely owned by the military and industrial corporations with a stake in continuing global warfare and spending billions on military efforts around the world.
Both McCain and Huckabee are fair-haired Council on Foreign Relations favorites, both shamelessly pushed and promoted by a major media intent on continuing the global warfare / welfare state. And so you can be sure that ALL their posturing on taxes is nothing more than deceptively pandering window-dressing.
It’s time to look past the superficial sound-bites, ignore the “front runner” posing about trivially meaningless “changes” and phony ”tax cuts.” Read! Study! Think for yourself, America! Choose Ron Paul for a real change and put the US back on track to real prosperity!

Recently received an email from a friend with a link to an article at rense.com.
For the benefit of my readers here, I post my reply to that email:
P,
It is apparent that some people just don’t “get it”.
How would Ron Paul reach any American Voter if he were to walk around pointing the finger at the goverment for 9/11?? The truth of the matter is that he wouldn’t stand even a slight chance at the ballot box.
But leaving all the conspiracy theories to the side would be one way to reach the voters. If Ron Paul did become president then maybe those 9/11 Truther’s would have a voice and see some form of action taken to resolve the issue once and for all.
The one strategy that always works in a political campaign is to stand on issues that reach as many voters as possible. The 9/11 group is a small group compared to those that have bought the BS from D.C. So by not directly addressing the conspiracy theory during the campaign would lead to more votes than if he were to join that band wagon.
The purpose is to win the election - not drive people away. Remember, he is a Congressman and is already walking a tight rope … has been for years.
The fact that Ron Paul has stated he is a Republican and will remain a Republican sits well with me. In several states the Ron Paul Revolutionaries have taken over their local and state GOP. Change starts from WITHIN… not by pressure from WITHOUT.
Ron Pauls Presidential Campaign has resulted in many positives over the last several months. Already mentioned are the changes in the state and local GOP that are continuing to take place, young people have been motivated to take an active part in the political process, the truth about the economic plight of the nation has been laid bare and the truth about the treason committed by elected officials has finally been brought to the table.
Americans are going to take a good hard look at what their elected officials are doing in D.C. and may even hold up their actions against the spotlight of the Constitution and begin questioning those representatives and demanding they abide by their oath of office. The younger element may even begin to take serious legal action against representatives that cast votes contrary to the Constitution or the will of their constituents.
Ron Paul’s campaign has awakened many more millions of Americans than we have ever been able to accomplish to this point in time. The awakening will continue as long as the revolutionaries remain involved in the political process.
Here is my prediction: If John McCain wins the GOP nomination we will see a Democrat voted into the White House with the largest landslide in history.
But the future Congressional and Senate elections will see many new faces voted in based on their positions which will mirror Ron Paul’s.
After 4 years of the same old song and dance we may see the American Voter come to his senses and elect a True Constitutionalist to the White House.
Keep the Faith. The Movement isn’t dead and isn’t about to die. Ron Paul is still in the race and will remain in the race until the GOP Convention brings the primary campaign to an end. Regardless of the outcome: The Ron Paul Delegates will have a voice at the Convention and their issues may become an integral part of the party platform for the general election. This is why it is so important to remain involved in the process.
Read Ron Paul’s letter again. It clearly states that he is staying in the race. He is only slimming down the staff and putting some time into his Congressional campaign. He didn’t drop out of the race. Do not allow any negative opinions to stifle the momentum of the movement.
If the folks at rense.com believe that change can be forced upon either party from WITHOUT - they are welcome to that delusion. The true change is coming from WITHIN - in spite of their inability to realize the true purpose of the movement.
And what is the true purpose of the movement? TO BRING CHANGE!! Real Change … not the kind of change the other candidates are speaking of (which is really the same old song and dance).
The movement rolls on and change is coming - it is happening every waking moment.

There was a time when the Republican party stood united against taxation, spending, over regulation, centralized government and social programs. Times have changed. Recently I have made the comment that Republicans sound more and more like their Democratic counterparts. Of course, there are exceptions and I wouldn’t want to give the impression that I believe all Republicans are adopting the more socialistic attitude of the Democratic majority.
It was reported today that the cost of the war has siphoned over 400 Billion Dollars from the economy. At a cost of almost 13 Million Dollars per day, whether you support the war or not, the effect that war spending is having on the economy is very evident. It should be noted that there is one candidate that truly understands this financial burden on the economy and has the courage to do something about it.
The National Taxpayers Union has recently put out a report which concludes that all the GOP candidates, with one exception, will actually increase spending. Mitt Romney would increase spending by $19.5 Billion, John McCain’s increase would amount to $6.9 Billion and Mike Huckabee would increase spending a whopping $54 Billion.
What has happened to the Republican platform of smaller government and less spending? It is still alive and well in one of the GOP Candidates: Ron Paul. The NTU’s report states that, when you crunch the numbers, only Ron Paul would actually shrink the size and cost of Federal Government.
Ron Paul supporters actually get this. That’s right. The sign waving, shouting and enthusiastic supporters of Ron Paul are not just a bunch of anti-war protesters. These are people that understand the economic challenges America faces. There is no doubt that when Ron Paul said: “Just bring ‘em home!”, there were many Democrats, liberals and independents that joined his campaign as they were not hearing such decisive speech about the war from the other candidates, including the Democrats. But once involved they became enlightened to a vision of America they had once scoffed at because of a total misunderstanding of it as well as a misunderstanding of the role Government is limited to in the daily life of Americans.
These numbers that have come over to take part in the Republican party could easily have supported Kucinich or some other anti-war Democrat. Upon researching the positions of Congressman Paul, and their overall effect on the American landscape, they have become fervent supporters. Mainstream Republicans seem to miss the point that Congressman Paul has garnered this energetic support by promoting traditional conservative ideals.
If the GOP ever finds its way back to those traditional ideals they could reshape America into something far greater than it ever has been. The Party’s growth is directly attributed to Congressman Paul’s campaign. And that campaign stands on the traditional ideals of the Republican Party. The front runners of the GOP primary have yet to understand the consequences of abandoning those principles.
