Media vs Reality

While the Media was asking where Ron Paul was, He was speaking to THOUSANDS.  He didn’t have to offer free brats or beer or put on a bowling show.  All he offered them was the Truth.

It’s amazing that Ron Paul draws crowds of thousands and the other candidates are lucky to draw stragglers.  To be fair, Romney’s largest crowd to date was about 2,000.  Ron Paul has broke the 10,000 mark at one of his rallies.  Supporters are constantly turned away at the door due to “over capacity” crowds… but they won’t leave.  They stay and listen while waiting for a chance to catch a glimpse of the good Doctor.  A Doctor.  Yes, that’s exactly what this country needs.  A Doctor to cure it’s ills.

As you view these pics below, ask yourself why they mainstream media stopped reporting on Ron Paul’s campaign.  You might also ask yourself why they don’t show the crowds at the other candidates rallies.  Ever notice how the shots are all close in when they do report from one of their rallies?  Take a look and wonder why this isn’t being reported:

Is the Media assisting the GOP establishment in their attempt to commit vote fraud by misinforming the public as to the reality of this campaign?  You decide.

“Anyone but Mitt”??

So, it’s “anyone but Mitt”, eh? Let’s look at what we got: Gingrich as “frontrunner”? Considering his comparison to Cain, with all his personal problems – which forced Cain to bow out – how can Newt hold on to this sudden surge in the polls?  With two affairs and failed marriages it’s hard to believe that people are going to give Newt a pass on this when Cain could not get one … regardless of the fact that the Mainstream media seems to be doing just that.

The comparison between Gingrich and Romney holds no stark contrast.  It’s more like looking at twins considering they are both huge Flip Floppers !! Since all the information regarding Romney’s flips have come out he’s declined heavily in the polls. And Newt should meet the same fate as the information regarding his flip flops becomes more widely known.  That is being helped by Ron Pauls new “attack” ad. Which seems a bit out of character for the Congressman but understandable when taking into account Newts machinations to keep Ron Paul from winning election to Congress when Paul had decided to return to the political arena.  What is disturbing about Newts flip flops compared to Mitt’s is that the flips are much more recent.

As I watched the news today with all the talk about where Cain’s supporters were going to go – particularly in light of the “anyone but Mitt” condition – I heard Santorums name mentioned. Not one mention of the only other candidate with double digits in the polls: Ron Paul. Rick Santorum tied with Michelle Bachman at 6% whereas Ron Paul took 2nd with 16%.  The talking heads went on and on about how Cains supporters were looking for someone that wasn’t “main stream” and didn’t fit the “status quo”, someone “outside the box”. And there were, of course, the many mentions of the “Tea Party” as has become common these days.

The media states that Herman Cains supporters do not want “more of the same”.  Romney represents that “same ol’ song and dance” that has been strangling them for decades.   At first, Gingrich seemed like a good alternative.  But after being reminded of Newts true stance on many of the important issues he falls far short of being someone “outside the box” and resonates a tune more akin the “status quo”.  Even Rick Santorum falls into that niche very nicely.

“What about the lovely Michelle Bachman?”, you inquire?  It’s nothing personal … but I think her shrill and whiny voice is the biggest turn off.  It’s hard to fathom this woman as a strong leader. As someone that will do what must be done to protect the borders and the security of the nation.  As easy going as Ron Paul demonstrates himself to be, you might be inclined to think the same of him.  Have no fear in this regard.  Even though the MSM reiterates the same old accusation of Paul being an isolationist – which is far from the truth – there is no need to fear that, as President, Ron Paul would be too timid to take necessary military action.  He was, after all, a military man. (Note: Paul is supported by more military personnel than all other candidates COMBINED.)

So, where are all the Cain supporters going to go?  Isn’t it obvious?  They are jumping on the Ron Paul bandwagon.  Congressman Paul has been an “outsider” his entire political career.  The Congressman has never wavered in his position on the issues for the last 30 plus years and has demonstrated that not only in speech but by his record.  This is a man of integrity.  And that resonates well with Cains supporters and all self proclaimed Tea Party activists (which were born from Congressman Pauls 2008 Presidential bid).

Will Iowa  and other early primary voting states hold a surprise for the GOP and the nation?  Will we see an end to the Gingrich surge and a rise of the “Limited Government” Libertarian Congressman from Texas?  All signs seem to point in that direction.

Stolen History

This is an eye opener for some.  I have told people some of these facts and was called a liar.

Some just don’t know their history.

Note from John Tate

90 seconds.

That’s how much of the first hour of tonight’s GOP debate was given to Ron Paul.  90 measly seconds out of 3,600 seconds.

The remaining 3,510 seconds were spent with the other major candidates:

** Declaring their desire to start wars in Iran, Pakistan, and Syria;

** Rehashing their support for torture;

** Agreeing that President Obama has the right to unilaterally assassinate an American citizen without a court conviction;

** Explaining their plans to continue nation-building, policing, and occupying countries across the globe.

It literally made me sick watching the mainstream media once again silence the one sane voice in this election.  The one dissenter to a decade of unchecked war.  The one candidate who stands for true defense and actual constitutional government.

Ron Paul was silenced, in perhaps the most important debate of the cycle.

You have to ask yourself why.

I think I know the answer.  Both parties have perpetuated the foreign policy that is bankrupting our nation and tearing apart the world.

Both parties have started wars without proper congressional authorization.

Both parties have fabricated reasons for war.

Both parties’ outrageous spending has taken us to the brink of disaster.

And if the other candidates on the stage tonight are to be believed, then there is only one candidate who would break the globalists’ stranglehold over our foreign policy, our Treasury, and the lives of our family, friends, and neighbors in the armed forces.

Ron Paul could change history.  He could save our great nation from its own devastating policies of the past 10 years.

If his voice could be heard.

The media has once again BLACKED OUT Ron Paul.

I have to ask my readers if they honestly believe the media is doing their job of giving you the information you need to make a knowledgeable and educated choice for the highest office in the land? Sure they’re not. They don’t want to inform you… they want to manipulate you. Not only do they want more of the same but they do not want the direction this union is headed in to change. They want to see you in chains.

Missing GOP ballots counted in Nev. after months

Check the older posts for related material, folks.  We have known about these dirty shenanigans for awhile… and here is just more proof of it.

The Associated Press

Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009 | 3:57 p.m.

Eighteen months later, Nevada Republicans have completed a count of all delegate ballots from last year’s state convention.

A group of disaffected Republicans says it feels vindicated after a Friday night count of missing ballots from the April 2008 gathering showed three delegates for U.S. Rep. Ron Paul should have been sent to the national convention.

Paul supporters said they felt party leaders cheated them out of a place at the national convention when they abruptly recessed the convention before delegate ballots from the state’s 2nd Congressional District could be counted. The district was allowed to choose three of the state’s 34 delegates to the national convention.

The convention in Reno ended after Paul supporters won a rule change that allowed them to vote Paul delegates to the convention.

“It’s good to get it done,” said Wayne Terhune, a Paul supporter. “It’s nice to be vindicated. The fact the three Ron Paul people won indicates that might have been the reason they shut down the convention.”

Party leaders say the count will have no impact on the state’s role in nominating U.S. Sen. John McCain as the party’s presidential nominee last year.

But they said they hope it brings closure to Paul supporters and others who had pressed for the count.

“This should have been done a long time ago,” said Nancy Ernaut, state party chairwoman.

About 25 Republicans gathered at the party’s Washoe County headquarters to count ballots that had spent the last 18 months locked in a casino cashier cage at the Peppermill, where the convention was held.

The count showed Paul delegate Robert Terhune won the most votes in the 2nd Congressional District, with 288. Paul supporters Marla Criss and Pat Kerby had 283 votes each.

Controversy over the state convention prompted Paul supporters to later hold an insurgent state convention, where Paul won most of the national convention delegates.

A Nevada GOP committee appointed another delegation, mostly prominent party regulars and contributors.

A key Republican National Committee panel then recommended a compromise list of delegates and said it was troubled by the “ineptness” of the Nevada GOP.

Paul supporters blame then-state GOP Chairwoman Sue Lowden for the state convention flap and hope to make it an issue in the U.S. Senate race.

Lowden is one of about a dozen Republicans vying for the seat held by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev.

“Hope for Change” – Has Anything Changed Yet??

You heard the slogan.  Were you one of those taken in by it?  Do you still believe that there will be any change in the way the federal government does business?  Will the People be able to count on their government to “preserve, protect and defend” the Constitution and their Freedom?

Think about all that the new administration has accomplished up to this point.  What do you see??  Disagree all you want but at this point I see nothing but the same ol’ song and dance.  If at all possible I hope to enlighten the readers of this blog to the fact that the 2 major political parties are one and the same, with very slight and inconsequential differences which all serve a single specific purpose, marching in the same direction.

We have seen a “stimulus” bill passed and signed into law under the “economic emergency” without the full transparency that had been promised on the campaign trail while Obama fought to secure votes.  This bill was passed in much the same way that the USA Patriot Act was passed during the Bush Administration.[1] And when scrutinized closely we find a few new laws tucked away within its pages that do nothing more than infringe upon the rights of the People[2] and invade privacy[3] while implementing new systems of control[4] over them.

As noted in a previous post, Obama has surrounded himself with “globalists” that work towards their goal of a New World Order.[5] This NWO is not in the best interests of America or the World.  It serves to benefit only the lust for financial gain and power of the International Corporations. But I digress…

We have had to endure an assault on our liberty from the Bush Administration which brought protests from around the country, from all corners and regardless of political affiliation.

“The brownshirt Bush regime ignored the protections provided by habeas corpus. They spied on American citizens without warrants. They violated the First Amendment. They elevated decisions of the president above US statutory law and international law. They claimed the power to withhold information from the people’s representatives in Congress, and they asserted, and behaved as if, they were unaccountable to the people, Congress, and the federal courts. The executive branch claimed the power to ignore congressional subpoenas. Republicans regarded Bush as a Stuart king unaccountable to law.”[6]

And what solution did the American People come up with??  Yep, that’s right, they voted for the same ol’ song and dance instead of looking to someone that was outside of the mainstream political landscape.  They looked to another “politician” instead of a “statesman”.

We now see that Obama is falling into line with much of what the Bush Administration has accomplished (which was by no means for the benefit of the American People).

“Now we have the Democrats, and the assault on civil liberty continues. President Obama doesn’t want to hold Bush accountable for his crimes and violations of the Constitution, because Obama wants to retain the powers that Bush asserted. Even the practice of kidnapping people and transporting them to foreign countries to be tortured has been retained by President Obama.

The civil liberties that Bush stole from us are now in Obama’s pocket.”[7]

How is that for change?  Allow me to demonstrate some of the other “changes” that come from the “Hope for Change” administration.

The current administration is now attempting to block a lawsuit seeking to recover millions of missing White House emails.[8] Why is Obama’s administration continuing the Bush administrations efforts to block this lawsuit?

Onward we march towards Socialism?  Benito Mussolini coined the term “fascism” and later said that “corporatism” would have been a better term. Socialism or Corporatism?  Take your pick.  We are without a doubt headed in that direction as evidenced by the leanings of the new administrations desire to institute mandatory programs of national service.

“Despite denials that Obama plans to institute a mandatory program of national service, his original change.gov website stated that Americans would be “required” to complete “50 hours of community service in middle school and high school and 100 hours of community service in college every year”. The text was only later changed to state that Americans would be “encouraged” to undertake such programs.”[9]

The pattern should be obvious to anyone with a skittle of intelligence. How do you think the Obama Administration is going to react to the Bush Administrations efforts to protect the telecom industry from liability when Bush had successfully enacted law giving them immunity[10]?  Will that Bush policy change under this new administration?  The pattern suggests that these huge corporations have nothing to worry about and they will continue to allow your privacy to be invaded.

While people are busy living their life, working, throwing “Oscar” night partys (Can you believe it? People actually have Oscar night parties!!) or watching News stories about which celebrity doesn’t wear underwear – the reality around them is gradually undergoing change they may not see the danger of until it is much too late.

Thankfully, there are many people that understand the dangers the runaway federal government brings upon The People and are working diligently to thwart these assaults on the Freedom that the People of this country have long defended and enjoyed. Hmm, maybe I should be wary of a visit by the Sercret Service?[11]

It appears that “hope” for change was the promise. Hope all you want – you won’t see real change until we have Statesman that refuse to be puppets of corporations and their lobbyists.

Get Active. Join Patriots from every corner of this great land and work to effect real change.  The promise of “hope” for change is not a promise for actual change.  Real Change begins with You.

See the links under “America Acts” to find out how you can be a part of effecting change.  Investigate and compare those “other” political partys and their candidates.  Do not allow the mainstream medias’ coverage of the same ol’ song and dance routine of the 2 major partys be your only source of information.
