Vote for ???

A lot of people will be writing in Ron Paul during the general election.  There is another choice available to us.

Gary Johnson will be on the ballot.

So, we have a choice to make. Do we keep beating the Ron Paul drum or do we vote for the Libertarian that will appear on the ballot? I would like to hear your input. Should the Ron Paul supporters band together and get the word out for Gary Johnson?

Note from John Tate

90 seconds.

That’s how much of the first hour of tonight’s GOP debate was given to Ron Paul.  90 measly seconds out of 3,600 seconds.

The remaining 3,510 seconds were spent with the other major candidates:

** Declaring their desire to start wars in Iran, Pakistan, and Syria;

** Rehashing their support for torture;

** Agreeing that President Obama has the right to unilaterally assassinate an American citizen without a court conviction;

** Explaining their plans to continue nation-building, policing, and occupying countries across the globe.

It literally made me sick watching the mainstream media once again silence the one sane voice in this election.  The one dissenter to a decade of unchecked war.  The one candidate who stands for true defense and actual constitutional government.

Ron Paul was silenced, in perhaps the most important debate of the cycle.

You have to ask yourself why.

I think I know the answer.  Both parties have perpetuated the foreign policy that is bankrupting our nation and tearing apart the world.

Both parties have started wars without proper congressional authorization.

Both parties have fabricated reasons for war.

Both parties’ outrageous spending has taken us to the brink of disaster.

And if the other candidates on the stage tonight are to be believed, then there is only one candidate who would break the globalists’ stranglehold over our foreign policy, our Treasury, and the lives of our family, friends, and neighbors in the armed forces.

Ron Paul could change history.  He could save our great nation from its own devastating policies of the past 10 years.

If his voice could be heard.

The media has once again BLACKED OUT Ron Paul.

I have to ask my readers if they honestly believe the media is doing their job of giving you the information you need to make a knowledgeable and educated choice for the highest office in the land? Sure they’re not. They don’t want to inform you… they want to manipulate you. Not only do they want more of the same but they do not want the direction this union is headed in to change. They want to see you in chains.

Tea party win embarrasses GOP establishment

In an earlier article (Fight the Good Fight) I commented on those that have “opted out” and reject participating in “the system.” Here’s a bit more, just for them.

I know the political landscape is a bit confusing at present. A lot of misinformation is floating around about the candidates. The GOP is attempting to put new faces in under the guise of being “tea party” approved. People are doing the research, discerning the truth and discovering the fakes the GOP is attempting to trick them with.

Even with all the deception taking place in the primary season, there is still a great change taking place.  Both Houses will undergo change. We may yet see the “old guard” pushed out of the way by true defenders of Freedom.

Wonder what those folks “hoping” to “apply pressure” when their “numbers swell” have accomplished thus far?  According to THIS article, (quotes below), those of us taking to the work have scored another victory.

Something to specifically note is that the candidate endorsed by Sarah Palin was not the choice of the (true) “Tea Party”.

By PHILIP ELLIOTT, Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON – Chalk up another win for the tea party. And another embarrassment for the Republican establishment.

Tea Party favorite and two-term state lawmaker Raul Labrador defeated Vaughn Ward, a Marine reservist heavily recruited by national Republicans, in Idaho’s primary on Tuesday. Ward’s loss comes on the heels of several other races in which GOP establishment candidates stumbled as the anti-Washington mood takes hold.

National Republicans had coached Ward and had made him one of their first named recruits, known as “Young Guns.” He also had the backing of former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

On Wednesday, the GOP wasn’t talking about Ward.

“We look forward to continuing to work with Raul Labrador and are focused on the election in November,” said Paul Lindsay, a spokesman for the National Republican Congressional Committee.

And one more quick quote from the article:

In several House races, establishment-backed Republicans have faltered.

Read the rest of the article which includes updates on other races.

Question: Are you a part of this history or one of those sitting on the sidelines waiting for your numbers to swell so that you can “apply pressure”   (whatever that means)??

Fight the Good Fight

By Ice
May 19, 2010

There is a certain segment of the patriot community that consistently harps the chorus that we cannot change our system of government because the system is not the original intention of the founders of this free Republic. They chant that the system was hi-jacked and changed. My personal argument against their despairing outlook is that if the system were hi-jacked once it can be hi-jacked again … by us.

Of course, this is met with more despairing arguments such as the systems use of fraud during the election cycle and the vast amounts of money used to target the millions of malleable Americans which, even though disgusted and angry with the current state of affairs, are still unaware of the cold hard facts, the cause of these problems and the undeniable solutions.

As these disenchanted patriots move further away from the problems we face by disassociating themselves with the current form of government by use of various “paytriot” processes, there are many of us that have put on our gloves and jumped into the ring.

Through organizations like The Bill of Rights Defense Committee, The Tenth Amendment Center and the Tea Party we have been making excellent strides. These victories are not only becoming numerous but as visible as highlighted text. The writing is on the wall for the “establishment”.

Note the recent victories at the ballot box during this primary cycle:

Good Bye Arlen Specter! The fourth Democrat to lose a high profile race.  And this loss comes in spite of his attempt to ride the Obama wave of popularity by changing parties in order to retain power.

Hello Rand Paul! And he is just one of many constitutionalist “Statesmen” that have joined the fray.  A sound victory with more than 60% of the vote spells trouble for the status quo.  The fact that Obama and his left leaning policies are not so well loved in Kentucky would make it appear to be an insurmountable task to stop Dr. Pauls march to the Senate.

As intended, there will be sweeping changes in the bodies that occupy both Houses… regardless of the money or fraud the “old guard” devotes to their efforts to retain the status quo. The “Obama” factor has become a liability as his popularity may not even be close to the numbers promoted by his adoring, boot licking media mouth pieces.

All the good news from the primary elections is just a small part of the battle.  States are beginning to find their spine and are ready to stand on their own, making the hard choices and accepting the responsibility to deal with the burden and problems characteristic of those choices. Many local communities, Counties and States have passed legislation barring the enforcement of the Patriot Act, any amendments thereof and certain Executive Orders.

The ongoing efforts of the several states flexing their muscle include not only the “10th Amendment” legislation being passed in State Houses but also legislation designed to nullify the usurpation of State power by the federal government. Current nullification efforts include: Firearms Freedom Act, Medical Marijuana LawsREAL ID, Health Care Freedom Act, Bring the Guard Home, Constitutional Tender, Cap and Trade, Federal Tax Funds Act, Sheriffs First Legislation, Federal Gun Laws, and Regulation of Intrastate Commerce.

The battle for Freedom and visible change in the political landscape continue in spite of the efforts of certain groups to bolster their numbers with insistent argument that participation in the “system” is futile.  History is being made and these people will never be able to say they were a part of it. While others take to the work they stand on the sidelines believing the fairy tale that “if” they could swell their numbers they “might” be able to “apply pressure” that would  bring about the desired change. (Note to those that have made this argument: After reading your argument here, doesn’t it sound a bit foolish?)

Personally, I believe these groups to be dead on regarding specific issues but totally disagree that participation in efforts to retake the government are futile. It is my belief that if the States really want to demonstrate the true extent of their power they should deny the Federal Government one of these powers. That power would be the right to issue a Passport.  By reclaiming this specific right the States would be making the strongest demonstration of their Sovereignty that could possibly be made. And for those of you that do not believe the several states have the right to issue Passports I would say to you that you are ignorant of the form of government we live under. When I see a serious effort to promote the reclaiming of this rightful power by the several states begin in earnest… I will be one of the first on board.

But Please … don’t ever tell me that participation in these efforts to retake our government are an effort in futility.  Join us. Fight the Good Fight.

Missing GOP ballots counted in Nev. after months

Check the older posts for related material, folks.  We have known about these dirty shenanigans for awhile… and here is just more proof of it.

The Associated Press

Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009 | 3:57 p.m.

Eighteen months later, Nevada Republicans have completed a count of all delegate ballots from last year’s state convention.

A group of disaffected Republicans says it feels vindicated after a Friday night count of missing ballots from the April 2008 gathering showed three delegates for U.S. Rep. Ron Paul should have been sent to the national convention.

Paul supporters said they felt party leaders cheated them out of a place at the national convention when they abruptly recessed the convention before delegate ballots from the state’s 2nd Congressional District could be counted. The district was allowed to choose three of the state’s 34 delegates to the national convention.

The convention in Reno ended after Paul supporters won a rule change that allowed them to vote Paul delegates to the convention.

“It’s good to get it done,” said Wayne Terhune, a Paul supporter. “It’s nice to be vindicated. The fact the three Ron Paul people won indicates that might have been the reason they shut down the convention.”

Party leaders say the count will have no impact on the state’s role in nominating U.S. Sen. John McCain as the party’s presidential nominee last year.

But they said they hope it brings closure to Paul supporters and others who had pressed for the count.

“This should have been done a long time ago,” said Nancy Ernaut, state party chairwoman.

About 25 Republicans gathered at the party’s Washoe County headquarters to count ballots that had spent the last 18 months locked in a casino cashier cage at the Peppermill, where the convention was held.

The count showed Paul delegate Robert Terhune won the most votes in the 2nd Congressional District, with 288. Paul supporters Marla Criss and Pat Kerby had 283 votes each.

Controversy over the state convention prompted Paul supporters to later hold an insurgent state convention, where Paul won most of the national convention delegates.

A Nevada GOP committee appointed another delegation, mostly prominent party regulars and contributors.

A key Republican National Committee panel then recommended a compromise list of delegates and said it was troubled by the “ineptness” of the Nevada GOP.

Paul supporters blame then-state GOP Chairwoman Sue Lowden for the state convention flap and hope to make it an issue in the U.S. Senate race.

Lowden is one of about a dozen Republicans vying for the seat held by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev.

The Limits of Protest

This is an excellent article and I would like to quote parts for emphasis:

Why Politicians Ignore the Protests

Politicians, especially those in high offices like the U.S. House of Representatives and above, have the ability to know who votes, who does not vote, who always votes Democrat, who always votes Republican, who always votes Third Party/write-in, and who is in the tiny minority “in play”–those whose swing vote might actually decide an election. It’s not an exact science, but the politicians can buy pretty good lists, they can develop the lists and make them better, and they can turn to other market research for even more information. Politicians respond only to the demands of key swing voters, and know that swing voters don’t go to mass demonstrations.

The anti-war demonstrations failed and continue to fail because every politician knows that among the anti-war demonstrators there are no votes in play. The marches are full of non-voters, third-party voters, and reliable Democrats. Nobody in any of those masses was going to vote Republican if their Democrat leaders didn’t do more to stop the war, and vice-versa for the anti-war conservatives: no libertarian was going to vote for Obama to stop McCain. Knowing that nobody would be sent home for voting for the latest $106 billion war supplemental, every Democrat did.

The politicians knew that none of the demonstrators’ votes were in play. Entirely for that reason, the politicians knew that they could ignore the demonstrators with impunity. And so they did.

The reaction to the new wave of demonstrations from the new minority will mirror what we saw four years ago. Knowing that nobody in these anti-tax, anti-Obama, anti-socialism demonstrations is going to vote Democrat to punish a Republican member of Congress for, say, voting for a new farm regulation, no politician will see the demonstrations as a political threat and feel compelled to react.

The Value of Demonstrations

When demonstrations appear successful by turnout but to no effect, demonstrators become alienated from the political process, and abandon standard grassroots politics for radical methods. Notice how Richard dismisses lobbying Congress out of hand, as if it’s no different from staging demonstrations? That error is the product of cynicism bred from failed effort.

This is not to say that demonstrations by themselves are always without value. At the state and local level, they can be great places to meet and interact with other activists. This is difficult to do with DC rallies, where even finding people in your state amongst the crowd can be difficult.

The political outcome will be the same whether or not you attend. The media coverage and punditry will be what they will be. Republican politicians will sympathize with the noble demonstrators; Democrats will label it a “right-wing” attack to firm up their opposition. The Washington March is a scripted event. The outcome is practically pre-determined; your presence is just one more tick on a tally. It may be a herd of cats, but it’s still a herd.

Is it all worth it? Maybe if you live nearby, but if you’re planning a trip, think how much energy is required. Say one coach bus, 55 people, spend two full days on a demonstration. 55 people with two full days could un-seat a mayor in a city of 100,000 if they spent that time canvassing their wards. In the sort of long, determined day you experience trekking to a demonstration, you work enough that for the effort you could have canvassed your entire precinct.

The Fruits of Local Effort

And for your work, you would have developed your voter list and your contact list for next time. More than a passing sense of achievement, but an asset you can put to use again and again. Instead of being a part of a herd, seen by all spectators as just another extra in the movie that is our political system, you would have made substantial progress in becoming a grassroots leader. You would have met people, in your very precinct, who feel the way you do. You would make friends, and you would be able to rally them to do join you in pressuring your politicians.

It’s engaging the middle margins that politicians fear. We deserve better than the political fate of the anti-war demonstrators, worked up into a mob and dispersed for later partisan assimilation. We can avoid this fate by rooting ourselves in our precincts and becoming grassroots leaders.

Unless you live in Maryland or Virginia, it may make more sense to dedicate yourselves to more local activism. If you can become a grassroots leader, and we as leaders work in a coordinated fashion, we will be able to manipulate our representatives in government. It does not matter if our representatives are not sincerely committed to Liberty–we can force them to vote for Liberty by making it the path of least resistance. That requires mobilization of voters, and the only way this essential task will be completed is if we start now.

The Revolution begins at home, and arrives in DC, not the other way around. You don’t need to travel to DC to make your voice heard. If you want to really upset the political establishment, become a grassroots leader.

“Hope for Change” – Has Anything Changed Yet??

You heard the slogan.  Were you one of those taken in by it?  Do you still believe that there will be any change in the way the federal government does business?  Will the People be able to count on their government to “preserve, protect and defend” the Constitution and their Freedom?

Think about all that the new administration has accomplished up to this point.  What do you see??  Disagree all you want but at this point I see nothing but the same ol’ song and dance.  If at all possible I hope to enlighten the readers of this blog to the fact that the 2 major political parties are one and the same, with very slight and inconsequential differences which all serve a single specific purpose, marching in the same direction.

We have seen a “stimulus” bill passed and signed into law under the “economic emergency” without the full transparency that had been promised on the campaign trail while Obama fought to secure votes.  This bill was passed in much the same way that the USA Patriot Act was passed during the Bush Administration.[1] And when scrutinized closely we find a few new laws tucked away within its pages that do nothing more than infringe upon the rights of the People[2] and invade privacy[3] while implementing new systems of control[4] over them.

As noted in a previous post, Obama has surrounded himself with “globalists” that work towards their goal of a New World Order.[5] This NWO is not in the best interests of America or the World.  It serves to benefit only the lust for financial gain and power of the International Corporations. But I digress…

We have had to endure an assault on our liberty from the Bush Administration which brought protests from around the country, from all corners and regardless of political affiliation.

“The brownshirt Bush regime ignored the protections provided by habeas corpus. They spied on American citizens without warrants. They violated the First Amendment. They elevated decisions of the president above US statutory law and international law. They claimed the power to withhold information from the people’s representatives in Congress, and they asserted, and behaved as if, they were unaccountable to the people, Congress, and the federal courts. The executive branch claimed the power to ignore congressional subpoenas. Republicans regarded Bush as a Stuart king unaccountable to law.”[6]

And what solution did the American People come up with??  Yep, that’s right, they voted for the same ol’ song and dance instead of looking to someone that was outside of the mainstream political landscape.  They looked to another “politician” instead of a “statesman”.

We now see that Obama is falling into line with much of what the Bush Administration has accomplished (which was by no means for the benefit of the American People).

“Now we have the Democrats, and the assault on civil liberty continues. President Obama doesn’t want to hold Bush accountable for his crimes and violations of the Constitution, because Obama wants to retain the powers that Bush asserted. Even the practice of kidnapping people and transporting them to foreign countries to be tortured has been retained by President Obama.

The civil liberties that Bush stole from us are now in Obama’s pocket.”[7]

How is that for change?  Allow me to demonstrate some of the other “changes” that come from the “Hope for Change” administration.

The current administration is now attempting to block a lawsuit seeking to recover millions of missing White House emails.[8] Why is Obama’s administration continuing the Bush administrations efforts to block this lawsuit?

Onward we march towards Socialism?  Benito Mussolini coined the term “fascism” and later said that “corporatism” would have been a better term. Socialism or Corporatism?  Take your pick.  We are without a doubt headed in that direction as evidenced by the leanings of the new administrations desire to institute mandatory programs of national service.

“Despite denials that Obama plans to institute a mandatory program of national service, his original change.gov website stated that Americans would be “required” to complete “50 hours of community service in middle school and high school and 100 hours of community service in college every year”. The text was only later changed to state that Americans would be “encouraged” to undertake such programs.”[9]

The pattern should be obvious to anyone with a skittle of intelligence. How do you think the Obama Administration is going to react to the Bush Administrations efforts to protect the telecom industry from liability when Bush had successfully enacted law giving them immunity[10]?  Will that Bush policy change under this new administration?  The pattern suggests that these huge corporations have nothing to worry about and they will continue to allow your privacy to be invaded.

While people are busy living their life, working, throwing “Oscar” night partys (Can you believe it? People actually have Oscar night parties!!) or watching News stories about which celebrity doesn’t wear underwear – the reality around them is gradually undergoing change they may not see the danger of until it is much too late.

Thankfully, there are many people that understand the dangers the runaway federal government brings upon The People and are working diligently to thwart these assaults on the Freedom that the People of this country have long defended and enjoyed. Hmm, maybe I should be wary of a visit by the Sercret Service?[11]

It appears that “hope” for change was the promise. Hope all you want – you won’t see real change until we have Statesman that refuse to be puppets of corporations and their lobbyists.

Get Active. Join Patriots from every corner of this great land and work to effect real change.  The promise of “hope” for change is not a promise for actual change.  Real Change begins with You.

See the links under “America Acts” to find out how you can be a part of effecting change.  Investigate and compare those “other” political partys and their candidates.  Do not allow the mainstream medias’ coverage of the same ol’ song and dance routine of the 2 major partys be your only source of information.

The USA Patriot Act and the Bill of Rights

The Act

The “Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism Act of 2001” (USA PATRIOT Act, or USAPA) introduced a plethora of legislative changes which significantly increased the surveillance and investigative powers of law enforcement agencies in the United States. The Act did not, however, provide for the system of checks and balances that traditionally safeguards civil liberties in the face of such legislation.

Legislative proposals in response to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 were introduced less than a week after the attacks. Though the Act made significant amendments to over 15 important statutes, it was introduced with great haste and passed with little debate, and without a House, Senate, or conference report. As a result, it lacks background legislative history that often retrospectively provides necessary statutory interpretation.

The USA Patriot Act was signed into law on Oct. 26, 2001.  This Act was overwhelmingly passed with 357 votes in the House and 98 votes in the Senate.  The Patriot Act decimates the Bill of Rights.  And there was hardly a peep from the “We the People.”

The original Patriot Act was drafted by both, Republicans and Democrats, the House and the Senate. But at the very last minute the original was switched with a version authored by Viet Dinh[1]. Under cover of darkness the President had the substitute bill printed at 3:45 a.m., only hours before the House vote scheduled for that same morning. Out of 435 Representatives, NOT ONE would read the substituted Act before voting on the bill.

It is not proper constitutional procedure for a bill that has been hammered out by both parties and both houses to be switched in the early morning hours with a bill prepared by lawyers from the executive branch.

Let us take a closer look at the USA Patriot Act and its effects:

Effects of the Act

The Act encompasses 30 years of spying legislation, laws that the congress had declared unconstitutional for over 30 years because they violate core American principles and the Constitution. The USA Patriot Act invades the lives of every American giving the President full authority under the law to violate our most fundamental principles under the Bill of Rights.

The First Amendment: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.”

Under the Patriot Act the government can instruct Libraries to turn over lists of books and internet records for everyone or anyone that visits their premises. The Library cannot reveal this “request” has been made and there is a penalty of imprisonment for uncooperative librarians. BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU!

The Fourth Amendment: “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”

The Patriot Act provides for searches, without probable cause. Law enforcement can break and enter into your home, collect computer files, reading lists, video and magazine lists and even “bug” your home with high tech surveillance equipment. All of this in direct violation of the Fourth Amendment. The Patriot Act has destroyed Property Rights and allows for illegal examination of your private property.

The Fifth Amendment: “No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.”

The Patriot Act makes it legal for any American to be imprisoned indefinitely, without the assistance of counsel, without the right to face their accuser and be denied access to the courts. These provisions within the Patriot Act suspend and nullify Due Process of Law guaranteed in the Bill of Rights.

These provisions also violate the Sixth[2], Eighth[3] and Thirteenth[4] Amendments which guarantee the right to a speedy and public trial, the prohibition against cruel and unusual punishment and the prohibition against slavery and involuntary servitude without first being duly convicted under the law.

The USA PATRIOT Act introduced sweeping changes to U.S. law, including amendments to:

Show Me Your Papers!!

If you are asked for identification at any time or place by any law enforcement officer – Be Warned! – Non-compliance could escalate to government sanctioned torture.

Could the atmosphere created by the Patriot Act have emboldened law enforcement officers to engage in activities that under ordinary circumstances would not be tolerated in America?

What happened to our fundamental Rights?

Bill of Rights Murdered

Did the members of the house violate their Oath of Office by blindly voting on a Bill they had never seen before? Was this gross incompetence on their part?

During Dec. of 2005, with open eyes and a flagrant disregard for the Constitution – both the House and the Senate voted to extend the USA Patriot Act, broaden its scope and make most of its provisions permanent.

Your Representatives did not hesitate to pull the trigger on your liberties.  This action can not be swept under the rug with any suggestion of mere incompetence by these men and women.  This second vote evidenced a blatant, brazen and deliberate violation of their Oath. But is it evidence of compromised politicians or was this straight up treason?

It only took 262 Republicans and 77 Democrats to kill the Bill of Rights.

American Terrorists

John Ashcroft stated: “To those who scare peace loving people with phantoms of lost liberty my message is this: Your tactics only aid terrorists.”

What is he really saying? Is he claiming that opposition to this Act is not an attempt to protect our liberty but “aiding and abetting” terrorists? Does he dare lump freedom loving Americans in with “terrorists.”?? If you speak out about the danger to freedom that legislation such as this holds do you become a “terrorist” in the eyes of your “servant” government?

Responsibility and Solutions

Many people have bought the line “you can’t fight city hall” and believe this horror cannot be overcome.  Please don’t buy into that because there is something that we can do.

In response to the loss of liberty under the Patriot Act, government leaders in states, townships and cities across the country have begun to systematically enact local legislation that prevents the enforcement of the Patriot Act within those localized communities.

The documentary “Washington, You’re Fired” notes that at the closing of 2007 –  there were 412 city, county and states which had passed anti-Patriot Act legislation and there were another 277 resolutions pending. Maine was the First State to pass such legislation against the Patriot Act followed by 7 other states, including, ironically, Washington, D.C.

The Bill of Rights Defense Committee helps communities across the country to participate in an ongoing national debate about American Liberty. Their mission is to promote, organize and support national grass roots movements to restore and protect Liberty as guaranteed by the Bill of Rights.  Every American is entitled to Bill of Rights protections.  It is the responsibility of every Freedom loving American to act to protect the Liberty guaranteed and protected by the Bill of Rights.

If you would like to become involved: go to www.bordc.org, find your state, locate your city and contact the person in charge of Patriot Act legislation in your area. Find out how you can help.

Americans must be vocal on this issue.   The USA Patriot Act MUST GO!!

Change?? What Change?

In the past please note that I have stated that if you vote for a Republican or Democrat (with very few exceptions) you will get the same old song and dance.  Maybe the article below will shed more light upon the subject for my readers.  If you dare believe that we are not being led to a Global New World Order ruled by a few elite … maybe you should think again. And maybe, just maybe, you will take another look at the “other” political parties and their candidates.

From the American Free Press:

Change? Obama Inner Circle Filled With Bilderbergers

By Victor Thorn

FOR TWO YEARS, Americans have heard an unrelenting mantra of change emanating from the campaign trail. But now that President-elect Barack Obama has begun forming his cabinet, we’re seeing a cadre of more deeply entrenched insiders than any administration that has preceded it.

In regard to key foreign policy advisors, all three of Obama’s selections either initially supported the Iraq war, or still do. On the economic front, each appointee maintains a close relationship with the Jewish triad of Ben Bernanke, Robert Rubin and Alan Greenspan—as well as bailout engineer Henry Paulson. Barack Obama himself is a Council on Foreign Relations member, has strong ties to Zbigniew Brzezinski, and participated in a clandestine meeting with Hillary Clinton at Bilderberg member Diane Feinstein’s house at the time when 2008 Bilderberg members were congregating only a few miles away.

Below is an overview of Obama’s top 14 selections to date. When considering their collective histories, a trend becomes clear, proving that the more things change under Obama, the more they stay the same.

1. TIMOTHY GEITHNER – TREASURY SECRETARY

Bilderberg, Council on Foreign Relations, Trilateral Commission, president and CEO of Federal Reserve Bank of New York, director of policy development for IMF, member Group of Thirty (G30), employed at Kissinger & Associates, architect of the recent 2008 financial bailouts, mentored by Lawrence Summers and Robert Rubin.

2. PAUL VOLCKER – ECONOMIC RECOVERY ADVISORY BOARD

Bilderberg, Council on Foreign Relations, North American chairman of Trilateral Commission, Federal Reserve chairman during Carter and Reagan administrations, president of Federal Reserve Bank of New York, G30 member, chairman Rothschild Wolfensohn Company, key figure in the collapse of the gold standard during the Nixon administration, longtime associate of the Rockefeller family.

3. RAHM EMANUEL – CHIEF OF STAFF

Member of Israeli Defense Force, staunch Zionist, congressman, Board of Directors for Freddie Mac, member of Bill Clinton’s finance campaign committee, made $16.2 million during 2.5 years as an investment banker for Wasserstein Perella. His father was a member of the Israeli Irgun terrorist group.

4. LAWRENCE SUMMERS – NATIONAL ECONOMIC COUNCIL

Bilderberg, Council on Foreign Relations, Trilateral Commission, treasury secretary during Clinton administration, chief economist at World Bank, former president of Harvard University, Brookings Institute board member, huge proponent of globalization while working for the IMF, protege of David Rockefeller, mentored by Robert Rubin.

5. DAVID AXELROD – SENIOR ADVISOR

Political consultant whose past clients include Sens. Hillary Clinton, John Edwards and Christopher Dodd; main Obama fixer in the William Ayers and Reverend Wright scandals.

6. HILLARY CLINTON – SECRETARY OF STATE

Bilderberg, Council on Foreign Relations, Trilateral Commission, clandestine CIA asset used to infiltrate the anti-war movement at Yale University and the Watergate hearings, senior partner at the Rose Law Firm, key figure in the Mena drug trafficking affair, architect of the Waco disaster, implicated in the murder/ cover-up of Vince Foster, and many other deaths.

7. JOSEPH BIDEN – VICE PRESIDENT

Bilderberg, Council on Foreign Relations, U.S. Senator since 1972, member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, current chairman of the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, strong Zionist sympathizer who recently told Rabbi Mark S. Golub of Shalom TV, “I am a Zionist. You don’t have to be a Jew to be a Zionist.”

8. BILL RICHARDSON – COMMERCE SECRETARY

Bilderberg, Council on Foreign Relations, former U.S. congressman, chairman of the Democratic National Convention in 2004, employee of Kissinger Associates, UN ambassador, governor of New Mexico, energy secretary, major player in the Monica Lewinsky cover-up with Bilderberg luminary Vernon Jordan.

9. ROBERT GATES – DEFENSE SECRETARY

Bilderberg, Council on Foreign Relations, former CIA Director, defense secretary under President Bush, co-chaired CFR task force with Zbigniew Brzezinski, knee-deep in the Iran-Contra scandal, named in a 1999 class action lawsuit pertaining to the Mena drug trafficking affair.

10. TOM DASCHLE – HEALTH SECRETARY

Bilderberg, Council on Foreign Relations, former Senate majority leader, Citibank lackey, mentored by Robert Rubin.

11. ERIC HOLDER – ATTORNEY GENERAL

Key person in the pardon of racketeer Marc Rich, deputy attorney general under Janet Reno, facilitated the pardon of 16 Puerto Rican FALN terrorists under Bill Clinton.

12. JANET NAPOLITANO – HOMELAND SECURITY DIRECTOR

Council on Foreign Relations, Arizona governor, attorney for Anita Hill during the Clarence Thomas hearings, U.S. attorney during the Clinton administration, instrumental in the OKC cover-up, where she declared, “We’ll pursue every bit of evidence and every lead,” described as another Janet Reno, soft on illegal immigration (i.e. pro-amnesty and drivers licenses to illegals).

13. GEN. JAMES L. JONES – NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISOR

Bilderberg, Trilateral Commission, European supreme allied commander, special envoy for Middle-East Security during Bush administration, board of directors for Chevron and Boeing, NATO commander, member of Brent Scowcroft’s Institute for International Affairs along with Zbigniew Brzezinski, Bobby Ray Inman, Bilderberg luminary Henry Kissinger and former CIA Director John Deutch.

14. SUSAN RICE – U.N. AMBASSADOR

Council on Foreign Relations, Rhodes scholar, campaign foreign policy advisor to presidential candidates John Kerry and Michael Dukakis, member of Bill Clinton’s National Security Council and assistant secretary of state for Africa, member of the Brookings Institute (funded by the Ford Foundation and the Rockefellers), and member of the Aspen Strategy Group (teeming with Bilderberg insiders such as Richard Armitage, Brent Scowcroft, and Madeleine Albright).

Victor Thorn is a hard-hitting researcher, journalist and the author of many books on 9-11 and the New World Order. These include 9-11 Evil: The Israeli Role in 9-11 and Phantom Flight 93.

Politics and The American Voter’s Plight

There is no doubt that America is the strongest nation in the world. It is not, and never has been, its military might or economic strength that has made it so. The strength of America lies in its very foundation of Freedom and Liberty which gives every American the power to direct the course of the nation through local, state and federal elections. The strength of America is, and always has been, the American People.

America needs to rise up to the task of meeting the challenges ahead … as only Americans can do. But I am dismayed and have been battling to remain optimistic during this primary season. Do you see what I see happening? Are you as fed up as I am? Is it my imagination or are there millions of Americans about to shoot themselves in the foot?

This primary has put in front of our eyes some very disturbing facts. We have been witness to the most scandalous actions (and inactions) of party officials and Media which should surely incense all Americans. But there is no outcry. In fact, for most of the country it seems these instances have not happened at all or are dismissed because of some unknown logical reason for its happening.

And so, time trudges on with the same sound bites and rally cries from the candidates and the Media commentators editorializing every detail of their campaigns … with one exception, of course.

My question is: How intelligent are the American voters anyway?

Let us take a closer look…

John McCain wants the voters to believe that he has the experience required to meet the economic challenges that lay ahead. He wants the voters to have confidence in his economic ability. He may have convinced some if the polls are any indication. Or maybe that lead in the polls is due to those voters that believe he would make a good “Commander in Chief” in these perilous times of “terrorism”.

To think that anyone would believe that McCain has the economic experience America needs in the top slot really frightens me. It frightens me because it makes a statement about the intelligence of the American Voter.

McCain had his chance to prove his economic prowess with a question posed to him by Congressman Paul during the GOP Florida Debate. Congressman Paul’s question centered on the “President’s Working Group on Financial Markets.” How many Americans even know what this “working group” is or have any clue as to whether or not McCain’s answer was any answer at all?

The working group is led by Treasury Chief Hank Paulson and includes The Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, the Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Details about this group are easily found on the Internet.

This aside, did McCain answer the question? Is John McCain going to keep this working group in place? And if so, what would the role of this group be and would what they are doing and how they are involved in the markets be transparent? Or … would he get rid of the working group altogether?

If you can find a yes or no to this question in McCain’s response … please point it out to me! I have found nothing to indicate what he would do. What I saw was a man caught with his pants down. What I saw was a man confronted with a simple question that he should have been able to answer given his years of holding top Federal positions of power.

Now that you know what the President’s Working Group on Financial Markets question actually was … watch this video of John McCain demonstrating his economic knowledge and expertise as he dances around this simple question without ever giving any sort of intelligible answer. And if after understanding all of this there is any American that has actually been convinced that McCain has the economic knowledge and experience needed in these difficult times then I say that American Voter is STUPID.

Over the years we have learned that cutting taxes actually brings more revenue to the government and stimulates the economy. We also know, by pure common sense, that any tax costs laid on corporations is passed on, to the consumer, through higher prices. We have also learned how government spending causes inflation. How can it be possible then that so many Americans are ready to cast their vote for more government spending and higher costs at the checkout counter?

Look at the crowds that Hillary Clinton draws with her promises of more government spending through social programs such as universal health care. Why? How can this be? Is it possible that there are Americans that don’t understand what these programs would do to the economy? … to their personal wealth?

Bill Clinton spoke about how Hillary would push to have the tax breaks given to oil company’s reversed and how that money would be spent for the good of the American People. Yeah, right… and the American People would be paying a lot more at the gas pump than they are right now. This proposal is really nothing more than another tax on the people. And there are actually Americans that want higher fuel prices and higher taxes??

Well, I must admit that I am stymied by all of this. What thought processes bring these voters to the conclusion that Hillary, or any other “tax and spend” Democrat, is what this nation needs during these troubled economic times is beyond my comprehension. Sure, I will probably receive a ton of hate mail for this … but these American Voters are STUPID.

As stated in the opening paragraphs, the election process is the power of the people. And yet there have been, and are going to be, some very serious problems with this primary election. Problems that can only be described with the terms “Fraud” and “Criminal.”

There will be States using totally paperless voting machines in their upcoming elections. This practice violates the secrecy laws of the election process. Isn’t a violation of law a “crime”? And wouldn’t the people involved in this violation of law be considered “criminals”? Where are the American People on this issue?? Where is the outcry?

In previous posts there are links and commentary regarding the New Hampshire primary and how votes were not properly reported from several districts. It was attributed as “human error” at the first location after which several other locations changed their tally to reflect votes for a candidate which had previously been listed as “zero”.

After viewing this video could you honestly say this doesn’t look like a man that is up to no good? Are we really supposed to buy this crap? And are the people of New Hampshire going to stand idly by while these men violate their trust and confidence?

The truth is that Americans are not being properly informed. There are a lot of Americans that don’t realize all of the options they have during this primary because those options are not being reported to them. Americans are being manipulated to vote for the “winner” and to ignore what others consider to be the “losers” in this contest. And Americans are not being informed of any problems regarding the election process.

The Mainstream Media is attempting to influence this primary election by not reporting facts. The Mainstream Media, specially FOX News, has behaved in the most unjust manner ever exhibited by any news agency. How many Americans were informed by FOX News that Ron Paul won 2nd place in Nevada? They didn’t mention his name or put his picture in their graphics when they showed every other candidates percentages. How many were informed by Fox News that Ron Paul took 2nd place in Louisiana and because of the “provisional ballots” that have yet to be counted may actually have won that state?

I have just informed you that Ron Paul took 2nd place in Nevada. I’ll let the video tell the rest of the story. Fox News may actually have put their license at risk. After watching the video you may want to ask yourself why the News Media, whom you depend on to report facts, isn’t reporting these facts. And you might want to do some research and find out why Ron Paul is so popular.

Fox news is pushing the idea that now, even before the Florida primary votes are cast, the GOP has a 2 man race between John McCain and Mitt Romney. Hmm, again they are discounting one of the candidates. No, it isn’t Giuliani or Huckabee they are missing. Giuliani has already hinted that he may drop out if he does not win Florida. And if the polls are correct we may as well say bye-bye Rudy. It may be that Rudy’s back and forth with Ron Paul and the education that Dr. Paul gave him, spelled the beginning of his end.

It isn’t likely that Mike Huckabee will continue on. If he does we will not see much coverage of his campaign as Fox news is setting the tone for this election and is yet undecided between McCain and Romney as to who they want you to vote for. Mikey isn’t in their agenda.

They are missing Congressman Paul in their line up. Ron Paul is in for the long haul. And there may come a time that the Mainstream Media, like Fox News, MSNBC, etc., will no longer be able to ignore him.

America has been the greatest nation in the world because of its Freedom and Liberty that puts the People in Power over the government. America must now rise up to defend itself from domestic enemies that would steal their Power from them. These enemies are a biased media and criminal actions of elected and political party officials. The American People must now rise up and take hold of their power and meet this challenge head on.
